How can this lightweight folding table hold so much weight?

Why should I buy the Elite Folding Table over the existing folding tables out there?

The only place I can see using this table is at trade shows.  Why shouldn’t I rent the tables from the convention instead?

How can this lite weight table hold so much weight?

Most tables, folding or not, have their legs and really all the support at the ends of the table.  With this type of design, the table needs a very strong table top to handle the longer span and very strong supports to travel from one end to the other.  That is why most folding tables are made with steel.  And even the ones that are made with aluminum still employ the same structure design so it still has a heavy table top and supports.  All of these put together make heavy folding tables.

Our table employs a trestle design that is made to evenly carry the weight.  The “V” shaped leg supports, which are made with aluminum tubes, not only carry the weight at the ends of the table, but it gives more support in the middle where most items are placed.  Since the overall length of the table does not need to be supported by legs at both ends, we can use materials that weigh less but still provide adequate weight retention.

In the picture, we've place 3 17" computer monitors each weighing 38 lbs.  The total weight of the three monitors is 114.
